Bring a list
Drop in a CSV or Excel sheet, in any language and any column order. racon works out what each column means and asks only when it is unsure. A name is enough to begin; a website helps.

For every company, a fleet of small, patient collectors reads its own website, public registers, news and job pages, and the way its internet is built. Plain scripts do the work. AI is the last resort, not the first.

Each company is scored against what you sell, on two axes: fit and timing. The ones that are strong on both rise to the top, with the reasons beside them.

Evidence
No black boxes.
Every signal comes with its source and the sentence it was found in. When racon could not find something out, it says unknown and never pretends a missing answer is a "no". You can argue with a score, because you can see where it came from.

Polite by design
Our crawler introduces itself as RaconBot and points to a public page. It obeys robots.txt, keeps to about one request per second for each site, and never scrapes LinkedIn.
Your list stays yours
Every workspace is separated from every other at the database level. Our administrators see usage numbers, not your companies. When we need to look at your account to help, it is read-only and written to an audit log.
Delete means delete
Ask, and your account and everything in it is erased. No archive tucked away somewhere. All we keep is a record that the deletion happened.
Scripts first, AI last
Ordinary, inspectable code does the research, because it is cheaper, faster and explainable. A language model is reserved for the gaps scripts cannot fill, and today none of your data goes to one.

What do I need to start?
A list of companies. Names are enough; websites make the research much better. Upload CSV or Excel, in whichever language and column order you have. You can also bring research files in JSON.
Where does the information come from?
From each company's own website, public registers such as Wikidata, news, job pages, and public internet records such as DNS. Paid data sources may become optional add-ons later; nothing paid is used on your behalf without you choosing it.
Do you use LinkedIn?
No scraping. racon can give you a search link that opens in your own browser, and it uses a LinkedIn page address if the company itself publishes it.
How accurate is it?
Public information is messy, and racon says so. Every claim shows its source, doubtful matches are flagged for review, and gaps are marked unknown. Treat it as a very well-informed colleague who shows their working, and check before you call.
Who can see my companies?
You and the people you invite to your account. Our administrators see counts, not names. Looking into an account for support is read-only and written to an audit log.
Can I stop RaconBot visiting my website?
Yes. Add a rule for RaconBot to your robots.txt, or write to us. The details are on the RaconBot page.
What does it cost?
Nothing during early access. We will announce plans before we charge anyone, and nothing will be billed without your agreement.
